On Friday, May 2 from 5 to 8 p.m., Maple and Main will celebrate Spring during the annual May Daze Night Stroll when all the town’s galleries, shops and restaurants stay open late offering food, drink and drawings for special gifts.

The gallery will serve wine, food and chocolates and will also offer a free gift basket brimming with art by the gallery artists: paintings, prints, drawings, cards and much more. Visitors can enter their names all weekend long to win.

Partying continues on Saturday, May 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. when there will be a reception for well-known artist Frank Federico’s month-long, one-man show in the Back Gallery of Maple and Main.

Federico is a nationally recognized, award-winning artist from Goshen who creates in a lively and semi-abstract manner which will be reflected in his show, Scapes I: Landscapes, Seascapes and Cityscapes.

Then, on Sunday, May 4, the gallery will serve cookies and punch all day and at 5 p.m, a bit of champagne to add some festivity to the drawing of the name of the winner of the art-filled gift basket.

And, during the entire weekend through May 25, the new Spring show of over 200 paintings and sculptures by 37 established Connecticut artists will be on view.
