 The Spring Exhibit will feature all new work by 37 artists as well as a fun display of paintings of cupcakes done by the gallery artists during a cupcake paint-out at the gallery all day Sunday, March 23. These will be unframed and sold at modest prices.

Other reasonably priced art can be found in the Back Gallery of Maple and Main where there is a new exhibit of Earlier Works. These are paintings done several years ago by the gallery artists who’ve gone on to new styles, media and subject matter.

Please visit the gallery’s new e-commerce website, some months in the making, from which you can directly buy art which will be shipped to you as well as browse additional art not in the gallery:

If you want a preview of the new Spring Show, it will be on display at the gallery beginning Wednesday, March 26. The exhibit runs through May 25. Maple and Main, at One Maple Street, Chester, is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 am to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 860-526-3459;
