“Save the Ferry” Public Meeting

The Hadlyme Public Hall Association has scheduled a public meeting for Thursday Dec. 16 to discuss the importance of the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry and to ask state officials to find ways to assure its continued service to the communities it serves on both sides of the Connecticut River. Dinners at the Farm Announces 2011 Season

In the depths of the cold here’s a little shot of warmth: Dinners at the Farm is pleased to announce their 2011 schedule for their 5th ANNIVERSARY FARM DINNER SEASON! In 2011, they’re happy to once again partner with Barberry Hill Farm and White Gate Farm to host their open-air celebrations of farms, food and community! They’ll be hosting 16 dinners this coming year, spread over the months of July and August.  Visit DinnersAtTheFarm for the complete schedule and dates. In celebration of their 5th anniversary season, they’re offering Thursday and Sunday evening tickets for $100 , that’s one delicious deal and it’s good through May 1st. So take advantage while you can. In answer to many of your requests they’re also offering gift certificates once again.

And FYI, Dinners at the Farm will be a feature on the Cooking Channel’s Unique Eats show that plans to air sometime in February. Watch for details.
