Art Gallery at The Mill House presents Watercolors by Chien Fei Chiang, of Old Saybrook CT. Chiang’s theme is “The Year of The Tiger”. His show runs May 1- 31 with a Reception on Saturday, May 8: 1-4pm. The public is always welcome anytime.

The Waterfall Room, at Connecticut River Artisans, presents paintings by: Chien Fei Chiang of Old Saybrook, Lisabeth Billingsley of Clinton, Susan Carden-Flicker of Shelton, Patricia Barone of Clinton, Dianne Gorrick of East Hampton and Phyllis Bevington of Chester.

Opening of the Spring exhibit of oil paintings and drawings of the Lower Connecticut River Valley, the village of Chester, CT, the Artist’s garden, interiors, friends, world travels and Elephants by Leif Nilsson with a reception on Friday May 7, 2010 from 5 – 8 pm. Gallery hours: Saturday & Sunday Noon – 6 pm. Other times by chance or appointment.

CHESTER GALLERY  Artists Reception, Friday, May 7th. 6 – 8

Rebecca Joslow, a sophomore at Parsons School of Design who has a strong sense of design in a style all her own will exhibit sketches – with fashion in mind.  No stranger to the art world, her grandmother Judy Joslow started the first art gallery in Chester in 1980 called “Wall Focus”.  Also on exhibit will be the wonderful etchings and engravings of Richard Ziemann and how fitting as he was among the first artists to show at “Wall Focus”.  Chester Gallery, 76 Main Street, Chester  860-526-9822
